Oil & filter service
0.5 hr | from $89 | oil + filter at cost
Twenty minutes on the hoist also buys you a set of eyes under the whole car.

Services & prices
The shop rate is $118 an hour and every job below starts from a number you can read before you call. Ours lives out here, in the daylight.
JOB NO. 01The board
A from-price is the floor for the common version of the job, and it moves for one reason only: what the vehicle actually needs. When it moves, you hear it from us on the phone first.
0.5 hr | from $89 | oil + filter at cost
Twenty minutes on the hoist also buys you a set of eyes under the whole car.
1.5-2.2 hr | from $389 | at cost + 20%
Pads and rotors, torqued to spec, old parts in the bag.
0.5-0.9 hr | $60/$95, flat | balancing included
On rims or a full swap, torque check included, before the snow flies. Flat rate, like the diagnostic.
1.0 hr | $89 flat | credited to the repair
The light is information. An hour of scan tools and a technician reading it.
1.0-3.5 hr | from $145 | at cost + 20%
What the gravel gave you. Struts, control arms, alignment-ready.
1.0-1.5 hr | from $129 | printout included
Forest Service Road kilometres and frost heaves knock everything out of square. Four wheels, printed before-and-after numbers.
0.4 hr | test free, from $189 fitted | at cost + 20%
A battery that starts a car in October can quit at minus twenty. We test it charged, loaded, and cold, before you find out.
0.8-1.4 hr | from $165 | at cost + 20%
The passes are where a tired rad finds you. Pressure test, flush, and the correct coolant for your engine, not the jug on sale.
0.6-2.0 hr | from $115 | at cost + 20%
Road salt eats pipe. We weld the section that failed instead of quoting you the whole system.
1.0 hr | $118 flat | written report included
Buying used? One careful hour on the hoist before you hand over five figures.
Prices checked: August 2026. Every figure on this page is also on the invoice, in the same words.
JOB NO. 02The arithmetic
Worked, on a real job
1.8 hr × $118 = $212.40
The labour line of Job No. 4187, one section down. Same arithmetic, same page.
01
Every common job has standard hours published in the same industry guide every shop reads. Ask and we will show you the page for yours.
02
Hours times $118. The rate is on the wall, on this page, and on your invoice. It is the same number in all three places.
03
We buy the part, show you the supplier invoice on request, and add a stated twenty percent. The old part rides home with you in a bag.
04
Finding the problem is skilled labour: $89 for the hour. Approve the repair and that money comes off the bill.
JOB NO. 03The counter
Nobody phones a shop asking for a brake service per axle. They say it grinds when they stop. Tell us what you notice and the sheet fills in with the same lines you would hear at the counter.
Pick as many as apply. Every figure below is the same one on the board above and on the invoice afterwards.
Work order
ESTIMATE, NOT A BILL
Nothing on the sheet yet. Pick what the vehicle is doing and the lines write themselves, at the prices already posted on this page.

A from-price is the floor for the common version of the job. The real number arrives after we look, with photos, on the phone, before a wrench comes out. It has never once left this shop higher than what you approved.
Want to see one finished? Job No. 4187 as its owner got it: the whole invoice, line by line.
