Accessibility
A website everyone can use, and a phone that always works.
The standard
This site is built to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Text meets contrast minimums, every control works from a keyboard, focus is always visible, and every form field has a label.
Motion
The scrolling year at the top of the home page only plays when your device allows motion. Set reduced motion and you get a still photo and the same words.
What we check
Automated checks on every page, then keyboard order, large text, narrow screens, forced colours and reduced motion. Last checked October 2026.
If something gets in your way
Phone (250) 555-0187 or write to shop@harknessauto.ca. Tell us the page and what happened. We book you in by phone the same day and fix the page.
At the shop
The office is at ground level with a step-free door, and the counter has a seat. If you would rather not wait inside, we can call or text you when the car is ready.
Harkness Auto & Tire is a fictional business. This site is a Kootenay Made Digital portfolio concept.
